Dr Disrespect explains why Treyarch are the only way to save Warzone
Dr Disrespect has not been shy voicing his frustrations on Call of Duty: Warzone and recently explained why he believes Treyarch should take over.
Call of Duty: Warzone has been one of the most popular games in the world following its release in 2020 and is one of the heavyweights when it comes to battle royale games. Plenty of popular streamers have jumped into Verdansk over the past year including Dr Disrespect who has never hidden his true feelings towards the game.
A variety of bugs like the latest invisibility glitch and overpowered weapons such as the Akimbo Sykov pistols have caused major headaches for the community. Issues like these have been one of the major problems in the eyes of the Call of Duty community following the integration of Black Ops Cold War into Warzone.
During an April 18, 2021 stream, Dr Disrespect ran into a variety of issues that left the streamer less than satisfied with the first-person shooter and how developer Raven Software was handling the management of the game.
This led the streamer to state that Black Ops Cold War developer Treyarch should take over the management and development of the battle royale game.
“Raven at this point — They’ve always been sorta a support studio within Activision. But, I think they are just supporting on this transition between Warzone and what the Cold War version is gonna be,” said the Two-Time. “I’m hoping that once we get on Cold War we get Raven the hell off of this game. Please, get off of it, and let’s let Treyarch maybe sorta manage it for the next year. That’ll be fun.”

Infinity Ward had been the lead development studio for Warzone following its release in the life cycle of its latest game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Raven Software took over the main development and managing duties of the battle royale during the release and integration of Black Ops Cold War.
Members of the community have been very critical of Raven’s handling of the game so far and there are likely plenty of other players who would agree with Dr Disrespect when it comes to having Treyarch take over Warzone for the foreseeable future that is set to change drastically with the arrival of Season 3.
