How to Complete the “Veni, Vidi, Zombie!” Gauntlet in Black Ops 4 Zombies
Here’s everything you need to know about the new Gauntlet mode on IX, “Veni, Vidi, Zombie!”
Earlier this year, Treyarch added a new challenge based Zombies game mode called Gauntlet. Launching on Voyage of Despair first, the game mode can now be played on another Black Ops 4 Zombies map, IX.
Another added element to Gauntlet is the timer which keeps track of how long each set of 10 rounds takes. This makes it great for competitive play and bragging to your friends.
The best tip for overcoming all 30 rounds is to know what the upcoming challenges will be so you can get ready for them. Remember, the round’s challenge will always be the same, so no matter when you play, round 4 will always be “Use the MOG 12 Only.”
To be prepared, check out the list of all challenges on Veni, Vidi, Zombie!:
- – Taking any damage drains all of your points
- – Survive an onslaught of sprinters
- – Missed shots hurt
- – Use the MOG 12 shotgun only
- – Possess the shield at the end of the round
- – Open all doors
- – Shield attacks only
- – Weapons and elixirs are only usable when crouched
- – Sacrifice 9 gladiators on the Challenge Podium
- – Defend the temple
- – Hip fire only
- – Sprinting is disabled
- – Pack-a-punch two different weapons during the round
- – Earn 1,000 points from boarding openings
- – Defend the bath house
- – Complete the round with 3 or more perks
- – Use the MOG 12 shotgun only
- – Kill zombies with headshots only
- – Survive for nine minutes
- – Defend the arena
- – Damage to you causes points drain
- – Possess two fully-packed weapons at the end of the round
- – Survive the tiger offensive
- – Kill zombies with traps
- – Defend the pit
- – Your guns randomly swap and all buys are disabled
- – Use the MOG 12 shotgun only
- – End the round with all 4 perks
- – Reach each of the destinations in time
- – Defeat the elephant
Players are rewarded with a calling card after completing every 10 rounds, and an emblem when completing all 30 with no strikes.
Other things to be aware of when jumping into this Gauntlet is that the MOG 12 plays a key role here. Like the Essex in Unsinkable, there are three rounds that limit you to the MOG 12 only so you should make sure you have the best attachments assigned in your armory.
Names have already leaked for the upcoming Gauntlet maps. Classified will be called “Death-Con Five” and Blood of the Dead is “Hellcatraz”.
