‘Modern Warfare 2’ Box Art Recreated by Real Soldier

While “bored in Afghanistan,” Reddit user Travissimo and his friend recreated the famous Modern Warfare 2 box art pose that so many of us are familiar with. After the original photo was taken, they took the next logical step and photoshopped himself into what you see above.

As the Verge pointed out, one reason this is an improvement over the original is because the real solider is practicing proper gun safety with his finger off the trigger unlike his “Actor Airsoft” buddy to the right is. The only flaw with the picture is that he’s now carrying a M4A1 instead of a M16 (which is still an improvement if you ask us)
