FaZe Clan member Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff had the opportunity to play Warzone 2.0 early and revealed that the sequel has “weird things” that have him worried.

The Call of Duty community is eagerly anticipating all the fun content that will arrive in Warzone 2, including 2v2 Gulag fights and the brand-new Al Mazrah map which features a ton of POIs to explore.

Warzone star NICKMERCS tried out the sequel early and gave his honest thoughts on features like the new split circle mechanics. The FaZe Clan member has now revealed his worries about a few aspects of the game.

During a stream on September 30, one of his viewers brought up that despite criticizing Warzone 2.0 for being “clunky”, he described the new map as “incredible.” In response, NICKMERCS made it clear that he hasn’t changed his mind about that.

The Warzone content creator stated: “When I was playing it, I did and I do like the map. There are just so many other things that are really, really weird about the CoD and you’ll see. I stand by what I said.”

In his initial review, NICKMERCS slammed the Warzone sequel’s split circle mechanics. It’s clear that while he finds the new map impressive, he hasn’t changed his opinion about the game.

The FaZe Clan member has never shied away from giving his honest thoughts on Warzone and even made the switch to Apex Legends because he enjoys it more. So far, Warzone 2 hasn’t won him over.

According to leaks, the developers may be making some AI and looting changes to the game, and it remains to be seen if they could change NICKMERCS’s mind. We’ll know for sure after the battle royale finally comes out on November 16, 2022.
