The FFAR is undergoing a resurgence in Warzone thanks to recent nerfs to the DMR. Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff has created a new, overpowered loadout to dominate Warzone.

The Warzone landscape has officially changed with the DMR no longer being a dominating force that puts other weapons to shame. It’s eligibility as a bonafide Warzone winner has gone. This means that other weapons are now in the running as the main meta weapon.

An old Black Ops Cold War favorite is very much popular at the moment. So much so that NICKMERCS is running the FFAR in Warzone and he’s found the perfect way to utilize it.

NICKMERCS FFAR Warzone loadout

There’s been a lot of discussion since the Warzone Jan 13 update as to what could become the new king of Call of Duty. The Kilo 141, the M4, and AMAX have all been discussed as heir apparent.

But many people, NICKMERCS included, have taken to the FFAR. The weapon is essentially the FAMAS, which has been present in multiple CoD games over the years, and it ruled BOCW’s early days.

Here are all the setting that NICKMERCS uses for his FFAR in Warzone.

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 21.2” Ranger
  • Underbarrel: Bruiser Grip
  • Ammunition: Salvo 50 round fast mag
  • Stock: Raider Stock

The loadout does take a hit on the FFAR’s accuracy somewhat. But it also greatly increases its range and damage. For someone like NICKMERCS, a drop-off in accuracy isn’t the end of the world as it’s far more manageable for a pro like him.

So many guns, integrated from Treyarch‘s Black Ops Cold War, have been dropping like flies recently. Along with the DMR, we’ve also seen the demise of the MAC-10 and the Diamattis.

Even though he thinks that the FFAR could “replace a lot of the SMGs”, NICKMERCS also says: “Are you going to see me or anyone else for that matter with this in a tournament? Er, nah.”

It remains to be seen how long the FFAR will be a go-to weapon for Warzone players. But in any event, it’s definitely an option to consider for the foreseeable future.
