Top Warzone streamer Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff has been singing the C58 Assault Rifle’s praises, calling it “the most broken gun in Warzone.” Here’s the C58 loadout he used to drop 38 kills in Verdansk.

Following Warzone Season 4 Reloaded’s huge weapon balance pass, the meta was up in the air. Players have still been rocking the FARA 83, returning to the Krig 6, and even experimenting with the now-powerful QBZ-83.

But for top Warzone streamer NICKMERCS, the C58 has remained the top choice. It has been a fan-favorite for the majority of Season 4 but received some nerfs in the Reloaded update. However, Nick still thinks it’s the best of the bunch, even going as far as to call it broken.

“This C58 gun is going to take over Warzone,” explained NICKMERCS. “Listen to me carefully… the best long-distance gun to use right now is the C58. If you guys have not used this gun, if you don’t have it squared away yet, don’t waste any more time.”

For a long time, the CR-56 AMAX was the top dog in the Assault Rifle category. NICKMERCS said that the C58 has a pre-nerf AMAX feel and “will be the meta” if it’s not already.

Using this “broken” C58 class alongside the MAC-10, Nick dropped a whopping 38 kills. Here’s his C58 loadout so you can try it out for yourself.

NICKMERC’S C58 Warzone loadout

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 18.5″ Task Force
  • Optic: Royal & Cross 4x
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Ammunition: STANAG 55 Rnd

NICKMERCS has built his C58 to dominate at medium to long-range. By pairing it with a MAC-10, Nick has a weapon for any gunfight, allowing him to take on any opponent he sees with confidence.

The Agency Suppressor and 18.5″ Task Force barrel combined improve almost every aspect of the C58. They grant more recoil control, damage range, and bullet velocity, allowing him to shoot far-off targets with ease.

He then opted for the Field Agent Grip for extra recoil control and the STANAG 55 Rnd mag to down and finish several targets without reloading.

But what really makes this loadout “broken” is the Royal & Cross 4x scope. As JGOD and several other content creators highlighted, the 4x scope significantly reduces the C58’s recoil, making the reasonably bouncy weapon stay laser-accurate. Raven Software has confirmed that the broken sight will be “addressed very soon.”
