NICKMERCS shows off tournament level FFAR loadout for Warzone Season 3

Popular content creator NICKMERCS has revealed the tournament level FFAR loadout that he is currently using in Warzone Season 3.

The Season 3 update for Warzone looked to have nerfed the FFAR Assault Rifle a great deal, but NICKMERCS recently revealed the loadout he is using for the Black Ops Cold War weapon that he believes still makes it a great choice for players to use.

Season 2 of Warzone was dominated by the FFAR, as the rifle’s high rate of fire, quick mobility, and high level of damage allowed it to be an unstoppable force on Verdansk.

The domination of the FFAR led to some significant nerfs be applied to it when Season 3 began in the Call of Duty battle royale in an effort by the developers not to have it be the only choice for players if they wanted to have a strong chance of winning.

While the FFAR is no longer the unstoppable force it once was, NICKMERCS recently revealed his latest loadout for the weapon.

He states that it would be in his “back pocket” if he played a tournament tomorrow, and we all know tournaments are when players only use weapons they believe give them the best chance of victory.

NICKMERCS FFAR Warzone Loadout

  • Muzzle: Flashguard 5.56
  • Barrel: 19.5″ Task Force
  • Laser: None
  • Optic: None
  • Stock: Raider Stock
  • Underbarrel: None
  • Ammunition: STANAG 50 Rnd
  • Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap

One of the biggest changes of the Season 3 Warzone FFAR loadout that NICKMERCS used in his YouTube video on April 28, 2021, compared to the dominant FFAR loadout in Season 2, is the use of the Flashguard 5.56 muzzle attachment instead of the Agency Suppressor.

NICKMERCS goes on to state that in his mind, this Assault Rifle will always be around unless the developers apply an incredibly drastic nerf to it, as the strafe speed and damage of the FFAR is still viable enough for NICKMERCS to be more than willing to use it as a loadout in a tournament.

The streamer went on to secure a victory with 15 kills using this class, so it looks more than suitable as a weapon choice for players looking for a strong secondary to use in close-quarters battles.

Warzone players passionately call for quitting penalty to be added

Call of Duty: Warzone players are fed up with teammates leaving games and are suggesting the developers introduce a penalty for leaving.

Warzone quitting penalty

Call of Duty: Warzone players have called upon the developers to introduce a quitting penalty for duos, trios, and squads as players are fed up with having teammates leave before the game is over.

Although Warzone has had a lot of success since the Season 5 Reloaded update, especially since the Iron Trials ’84 mode was introduced, recently, players have been unhappy with the state of the game.

Since the September 23 update, players have been noticing performance issues that have been running the experience. As well as these issues, players are now calling for developers to fix another, which involves introducing a leavers penalty.

Warzone players aren’t the first battle royale community to ask the developers to introduce a leavers penalty, as Apex Legends now has a similar system for ranked and Arenas, incentivizing players to stay in games longer.

This is the issue Reddit user Binarycold has been having in Warzone, as they put up a post explaining what it’s like to play “Warzone with strangers.”

In the post, the player seems to be fed with random teammates leaving games before it’s even done, stating that every game mode may as well be called solos or solos pending “since no one can ever stay in a full game.”

The user then states that the developers should “implement some penalty for quitting out, this is ridiculous!” Clearly, this player isn’t the only one who feels this way, as others in the comments also share a similar opinion:

“I’d love to see a deserter stat. Only applies on control initiated drops, not poor connection. I’d like people to be notified if the team they left won it too, or came second and might have won if the awol player would have stayed.

People have no tenacity any more. If they have a rough landing, they bolt. Where’s the grit? Softies”

It’s very frustrating when teammates leave the game when you could potentially recover from a bad landing or win a game despite being disadvantaged by a teammate dying.

We’re sure many teammates have missed out on great games and even victories as they have left way too early and would undoubtedly appreciate the developers introducing a leavers penalty to discourage this from happening.

With Warzone integrating with Vanguard in the future, there is always a possibility for the addition of a quitting penalty to be one of the changes made to the Call of Duty battle royale.
