As part of the gamescom announcements, NVIDIA has given fans a first look at the work they are doing with the Infinity Ward and Activision teams to bring RTX Ray Tracing to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on PC.

They released a new video which has some additional gameplay of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

With the game’s October 25th release fast approaching, we can now reveal that the game is being enhanced with real-time ray-traced shadows, within both the single-player campaign and 2v2 Gunfight multiplayer mode.

Check out the first ray-traced Modern Warfare gameplay and screenshots below, demonstrating how ray-traced shadows improve the game’s already realistic graphics.

NVIDIA also released a set of new screenshots for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare as part of this to show RTX Ray Tracing in the game.
