eSports World Convention (also known as ESWC) has announced one of the first Call of Duty World League Challenge Division events for the European region. This event will take place at the Zenith of Paris from May 6 through May 8.

The announcement states that players — both pro and amateurs — can participate for a chance at the $50,000 prize pool. As this event is part of the Call of Duty World League Challenge Division Presented by PlayStation 4, players will have to be 18 years or older in order to participate. Challenge Division teams will have the opportunity at this event to earn World League points for a shot at the Call of Duty Championship event.

After its great success in 2015, the ESWC is back at the Zénith of Paris to offer another tremendous tournament of Call of Duty®: Black Ops III. The best teams in the world will battle for a cash prize of $50,000. In partnership with the Call of Duty World League Presented by Playstation4, Zenith of Paris will be part of the CWL Challenge Division and will give amateur players the chance to earn points to gain entrance into the qualifier for the Call of Duty Championship this fall.

The event will be open to spectators, and tickets will go on sale February 12th.
