Call of Duty: WWII Liberty Strike Community Event: July 2 – July 24

A new in-game event for Call of Duty: WWII has been announced: Operation Liberty Strike! It’s live now through July 24 in Call of Duty: WWII, and it features four new weapons, return of favorite modes, a new Community Challenge, and more!

There are four new weapons with the Liberty Strike collection in Call of Duty: WWII:

  • ZK-383: A submachine gun that comes with a built-in selective fire feature, allowing a seamless transition from its short-range “Fast Fire” mode and longer-distance “Slow Fire” mode with a press of a button.
  • AVS-36: Rifle features automatic fire as well as a high damage output and solid fire rate.
  • De Lisle: A sniper rifle with a built-in suppressor.
  • Push Dagger: A knife that’s small in size, but big in lethality with a guaranteed one-hit-kill on any successful strike.

In addition, Captain Butcher returns as the Quartermaster in Call of Duty: WWII during the duration of the event with all new country-themed gear is coming to the game. Featuring weapon charms, uniforms, and camos for many of the countries around the world.

There’s a new Community Challenge as well in Call of Duty: WWII. Earn 260 million total match wins in MP across the community to unlock new rewards, including at Tier 3, everyone will receive the American II M1911 Variant, and at Tier 5, the Independent II M1 Grand Variant. Activision says, “every time a team wins a Multiplayer match, one win will be counted towards the community total.”

Game modes like One Shot and Hardcore Ricochet will return alongside new Double XP playlists during the event. SHG will announce new playlists throughout the course of the event, so stay tuned for updates.

There is also a set of new Zombies uniforms that can used in MP. To get these, players must complete challenges and daily orders in Zombies and can then unlock the the brand-new Moonraven uniforms to wear in Multiplayer.
