Out of map exploits make Vanguard’s Radar “unplayable”
Due to multiple out of map exploits, excitement quickly turned into disappointment for Vanguard players following the return of fan-favorite map Radar.
When players received news of a fan-favorite map making a return to Vanguard, speculation began to mount as to the identity of the mystery map. Few would have guessed that the map would be a Vanguard version of Modern Warfare 3’s Dome.
It didn’t take long for Vanguard players to notice that the pleasant Season 1 surprise was more of a curse than a blessing. As it stands, Radar is currently a frustrating experience thanks to the frequency of out of map exploits.
Radar’s out of map exploit issues
Vanguard has had its fair share of bugs and glitches since its November 5 release. The latest glitch driving players crazy is an out of map exploit on the Radar map. This isn’t the first out of map exploit discovered in Vanguard and it probably won’t be the last. There’s no doubt the devs are currently working on a fix for such a major issue.
Players are understandably frustrated at getting killed by enemies who cannot be reached. Radar is a fast-paced map that encourages close-quarters gunfights. Unfortunately, players are not able to enjoy the map to the fullest due to frequent out of map exploits.
As you can see in the clip, enemies can position themselves outside of the map. Due to the significant high ground and the ability to hide between rocks, these players are extremely difficult to kill making Radar “unplayable”.
Interestingly enough, Radar seems riddled with bugs and glitches. Multiple players have shared clips of broken spawns trapping them in locked areas or instances of falling through the map’s virtual surface.
The map hardly feels like a finished product. Once these bugs vanish, Radar will no doubt feel like the MW3 map that most players adored.
Until these issues no longer exist, don’t forget to ban and report players who are abusing the out of map exploit.
