Overwatch 2’s menu backgrounds change with each event, season, hero release, and worldwide competition. They tend to bring a certain feel to the game that matches what’s going on live, and sometimes players don’t want to see them go.

What might not be known to even the most veteran Overwatch players is that you are actually able to customize your menu to the image and music you prefer.

When you launch your game after inputting the code, it may take a little longer than usual to launch. Rest assured, it’s just taking some time to process and you can get to gaming soon after you’ve customized your menu.

It’s worth noting that some backgrounds get removed with the release of new seasons, but more also get added to use. So, make sure to return to this page when there’s an update to check out the new backgrounds you can use and which ones are no longer available.

Thanks to Steam user ‘SkyBorik’ for putting the codes together for players to use. As more events, updates, and Heroes get released, we will make sure to update this list with new codes so you can choose from future menu backgrounds as well.

Can you change menu backgrounds on console?

Unfortunately, you can’t change menu backgrounds for Overwatch 2 on console currently. The process to change the menu background requires the Battle.net or Steam app, which are only available on PC.

Season 11 is well underway, so be sure to check out the new Battle Pass and Community Crafted LTM before you log in again. Blizzard have also released a new map along with an overhaul to Colloseo, so make sure you’re up to date with these changes before you hop into Competitive.
