Overwatch 2 players obsessed with “best Moira skin” ever in Diablo 4 Lilith crossover
BlizzardBlizzard have shared a first look at Overwatch 2 Season 7 and its Halloween event, and fans are already loving the Diablo 4 crossover skin that transforms Moira into Lilith.
Overwatch 2 Season 7 is set to arrive on October 10, bringing a major rework for Sombra, a new Control map, and the usual mixture of buffs and nerfs. The update is also bringing the annual Halloween event to the game, which launches alongside the new season.
The event, which is expected to be titled Halloween Terror, celebrates the spooky season by delivering new modes for players to try out and skins to unlock.
This time around, the marquee skin in the Overwatch 2 Halloween event is a Diablo 4 crossover, turning popular Support Hero Moira into series antagonist Lilith. The outfit was revealed in a teaser on October 2 and after Reddit user ‘CherryBombBouillion’ shared the news, it seems that fans are already in love with it.
Many were quick to praise the Diablo Lilith skin, as one player replied: “This might be the best Moira skin I’ve ever seen.”
Moira is one of the most popular Support characters in the game, but the community has often felt that she hasn’t been given enough high-quality skins to unlock. However, with this Diablo crossover in Overwatch 2, players think their calls have been answered.
“Finally a Moira skin worthy of the character,” said one player, before another added: “Holy s**t, in my head I said ‘finally a skin worth playing with.'”
While there were a handful of comments criticizing Blizzard for crossing over with one of their own IPs, others felt the Moira/Lilith skin was of a higher quality than other collaborations they’ve seen: “Definitely better than the One Punch Man crossover.”
Players will have to wait until Overwatch 2 Season 7 begins to find out how to get their hands on the Diablo 4 Lilith skin for Moira, but it appears that it will be the first thing many fans will do. In the meantime, check out the Anniversary event rewards and the October player count.
