Overwatch 2 Season 10 is upon us with tons of new content, ranging from a new map and event mode to theme and Competitive changes. As usual, a bunch of new skins have also arrived in the game through the Battle Pass and the shop.
While most players will don these new cosmetics, you can easily stand out among them through Prime Gaming rewards. So, here’s everything to know about Overwatch 2 Prime Gaming rewards and how to get the free Nihon Genji skin.
How to claim Overwatch 2 Prime Gaming rewards
To claim the OW2 Prime Gaming rewards, head to the official Prime Gaming website and search for Overwatch 2. Once on the game’s page, you’ll have to login with the Amazon account that has has an active Prime subscription and link it to your Blizzard account.
The current Prime Gaming rewards include the Nihon Genji and five Battle Pass tier skips. The Epic Genji skin has a neat red trail animation and it’s great addition to anyone’s collection. As for the supported platforms, you can get the Nihon Genji skin as well as the Battle Pass tier skips on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
It is important to note that the Nihon Genji skin leaves Overwatch 2 Prime Gaming rewards on April 23, 2024 so it’s best to redeem it as quickly as possible. The Battle Pass tier skips are available till May 16, 2024 though, so you have a lot more time to get that Battle Pass boost.
The Nihon Genji skin originally arrived during the Summer Games event in OW2 and many believed that it won’t ever return to the shop. Prime Gaming is currently the only way to get your hands on this cosmetic and there’s no confirmation on its next return yet.
