Overwatch 2 Season 10 Tank changes & Wrecking Ball rework
Wrecking Ball saw the biggest change in Overwatch 2 Season 10, but Reinhardt, Junker Queen, Sigma, and Doomfist also got some buffs.
Wrecking Ball has been one of the weaker Tank choices for a while now, so it’s not super surprising that he got a rework in Season 10. Alongside better control over his Grappling Hook, he is also able to better use his Adaptive Shields to protect his teammates.
Reinhardt and Junker Queen have seen some changes to their Ultimate abilities, each making it a little easier to hit targets. Rein’s Shatter will now also keep people on the ground for longer. Doomfist and Sigma both saw small buffs to allow them to handle fights a little easier.
Overwatch 2 Season 10 DPS changes
Sombra and Tracer both saw nerfs in Overwatch 2 Season 10, while Venture got a bit of a rework to fit better into Competitive.
Sombra and Tracer have both received some nerfs that make them a little easier to deal with. Sombra’s Virus ability’s damage over time was decreased to make up for the initial burst damage, making it slightly weaker than before.
Tracer’s changes make her more punishable, increasing the difficulty of sticking her Pulse Bomb on an enemy and increasing the time on her Recall. Venture is being released into Competitive immediately, so the devs have reworked some of their abilities to better balance them.
Overwatch 2 Season 10 Support changes
Illari, Moira, and Lucio got shifts to their kits in Overwatch 2 Season 10, while Lifeweaver got a buff that should help with his survivability.
Both Illari and Moira have seen shifts in their kits which allow them to focus more on healing than damage, while Lucio has a small buff to his gun damage and a bit of a buff to his Ultimate. Lifeweaver got an overall buff that made his Ultimate stronger and gave him more survivability.
