Overwatch 2 Season 8 is set to begin on December 5, bringing the usual set of buffs and nerfs as well as the brand-new Tank Hero Mauga. The start of the next chapter also means a fresh Battle Pass full of cosmetics for players to work through, all focused on the “Call of the Hunt” theme for Season 8.
While we’ll have to wait for the update to roll out to get a full look at every new skin and item available on the Battle Pass, Blizzard have begun teasing what’s in store, including the latest Mythic skin that players will be desperate to unlock.

Overwatch 2 Season 8 Battle Pass cost
The Overwatch 2 Season 8 Battle Pass will cost 1,000 OW Coins ($9.99/£8.39) for those looking to pick up the regular version. This will grant them access to all 80 Tiers, as well as a 20% XP boost to help them complete it before Season 9 begins.
Meanwhile, the Overwatch 2 Season 8 Premium Battle Pass is 2,200 OW coins ($20/£16.79), which comes with an additional 20 Tier Skips to give players a headstart.
Overwatch 2 Season 8 Battle Pass: All confirmed skin
So far, only one skin has been revealed for the Overwatch 2 Season 8 Battle Pass – a Mythic skin for Tank Hero Orisa. The Grand Beast Orisa Mythic will be the Tier 80 reward this time around, coming with multiple different color options and even a new-look Ultimate ability.
There will be plenty of other skins for different characters up for grabs too, but these will likely be revealed closer to the start of Season 8.
Blizzard have also confirmed that the new Battle Pass will give players the chance to unlock Mythic skins they have missed in previous seasons. However, it hasn’t been revealed exactly how this will work or which Tier fans will have to reach in order to access this feature.
