Overwatch 2 Summer Games 2023 returns with Lucioball
The fan-favorite game mode, Lucioball, is returning to the upcoming Overwatch 2 Summer Games 2023 event. Nothing has quite changed when it comes to Lucio Ball over the years. It’s similar to Rocket League but with multiple Lucios.
Though Blizzard did switch things up back in 2020 with Lucioball Remix, so we’ll keep you posted concerning any changes.
Overwatch 2 Summer Games 2023 presents Winston’s Beach Volleyball
In addition to Lucioball, players will get to enjoy a dedicated game mode, featuring Winston and a volleyball. In Winston’s Beach Volleyball, you will “run, jump, and spike a giant volleyball towards your opponents,” according to the devs.

Overwatch 2 players got a few early looks at some new skins making their way to Season 5’s Summer Games. The developers gave players a sneak peek at a tropical-themed Doomfist skin, along with a lifeguard Mercy skin.
Players that missed out on older Summer Games events can claim certain skins for free. We’re seeing the return of Track and Field Tracer and Spinkle Mei.
It’s likely that Blizzard are keeping things under wraps, and more cosmetics could be making their way to the upcoming event. Hopefully, we’ll see everything that’s in store on July 11, 2023.
