PocketpairMerchants offer Palworld players essential items and Pals in exchange for Gold, so here’s everything you need to find merchants in the Palpagos Islands.
While Palworld is in Early Access, it offers players plenty to do, from catching more than 100 Pals to defeating powerful bosses, gathering all kinds of resources, and much more.
While some of the materials needed to craft can be found lying around on the map or from catching and defeating Pals, others are tougher to get. That’s when the Wandering merchants come in handy.
So, if you’re looking for merchants to buy useful resources, or even Pals, in Palworld, here’s everything you need to know.

What are merchants in Palworld?
Players can find two types of merchants in Palworld: Pal merchants and Wandering merchants. The former only trades Pals for big amounts of Gold, while the latter will sell you all kinds of items, resources, and even schematics.
Pal merchants wear blue, and Wandering merchants are dressed in red clothes, so you shouldn’t have trouble identifying them. They can be found in fixed locations, but Wandering merchants roam the Palpagos Islands and can spawn at random areas.
Some players have used Pal Spheres to capture Wandering merchants with unexpected success, but it’s probably due to a bug or a glitch that’ll get fixed soon.
Where to find merchants in Palworld?
You can find Pal merchants in villages and Small Settlements in Palworld, but Wandering merchants spawn randomly on the map and may eventually arrive at your base. Once you discover Pal merchants, they’ll appear with a marker on your map so you can find them easily.
The settlement closest to the beginning area of the game is located at coordinates -76, 488. You’ll need to climb the mountain or cross the nearby bridge to reach it.
