How to hatch Eggs in Palworld
PocketpairIn Palworld using Pal Spheres isn’t the only way to complete your Paldeck. Hatching Eggs is a great way to get your hands on some rare Pals to reinforce your team. However, getting Eggs might be easier said than done, as there are some steps you need to follow.
What’s more, there are different types and rarities of Eggs to find while exploring, so knowing the best ones is the key to saving a ton of time.
How to incubate & hatch Eggs
To hatch Eggs, simply place an Egg inside the Incubator and wait for the timer to finish. The timer shows real-world time, so you can go do other things while you wait for the Egg to hatch.
The amount of time you’ll have to wait is determined by the type and rarity of each Egg, so keep that in mind.
You might get a message saying the Egg you’re incubating “seems a little cold,” and this could be for a number of reasons. If it’s nighttime and the Incubator was built outside, you might want to move it to an indoor location so this doesn’t happen.
However, you can also get this message when trying to hatch a Scorching Egg. To solve this issue, you’ll need to craft a Heater close to the Incubator with 20 Ingot, 10 Charcoal, and 5 Flame Organ. Do note that you’ll need to reach Level 17 to unlock the Heater.
Where to find Eggs
You can get Eggs by finding them in the wild, looting them from Boss Pal nests, or breeding Pals.
While exploring the wild, you might stumble upon a nest holding one colored Egg. While there’s no way to pinpoint their locations, you’ll have more luck staying close to cliffs and rocks. Most Eggs will respawn in the same location after three in-game days.
There’s a random world event where Boss Pals nest around the map, if you pay close attention, you’ll see a big nest with several Eggs inside, alongside scattered loot you can take as well. But beware, the Boss Pal will try to defend its nest.
Breeding Eggs is a great way to get powerful Pals with better stats and abilities, but you’ll need to reach Level 19 to unlock this part of the game. Once you get to Level 19, you can unlock the Breeding Farm for two Technology Points and you can build it with 100 Wood, 20 Stone, and 50 Fiber.
Putting two compatible Pals in the Breeding Farm will Yield Eggs with time. Once you get your Eggs, it’s time to craft an Incubator to hatch them, so here’s how to do it.
How to unlock Incubator
To be able to craft an Incubator, you need to reach Level 7 and unlock it by spending three Ancient Technology Points. Then, you’ll need to spend 10 Paldium Fragment, 30 Stone, and 5 Cloth to make an Incubator.
With your Incubator ready, you can now hatch Eggs to get new Pals.
With the Sakurajima update, a new type of Incubator can be unlocked at level 36, using 5 Ancient Technology Points. The Electric Egg Incubator works faster and automatically adjusts the temperature that each Egg needs, though it requires Electricity to work.
You can build the Electric Egg Incubator for 50 Refined Ingots, 15 Circuit Board, 10 Ancient Civilization Parts, and 5 Ancient Civilization Cores.
