Where to find Shadowbeak in Palworld

To find Shadowbeak, head to the No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary located on an island in the northeastern corner of the map. The closest fast travel point to the location is Deep Sand Dunes. The Dark-type Pal will spawn randomly, so you might have to make multiple visits.

You’ll have to bring along a flying mount to reach the location, and make sure to pack high-tier weapons as well since Shadowbeak is an endgame Pal. It’s also essential to use powerful Dragon-type Pals like Jetragon, Jormuntide, or Quivern to weaken Shadowbeak quickly.

Who is Shadowbeak in Palworld?

Shadow is a powerful Dark-type Pal in Palworld. It packs formidable base stats, excels in combat, and can also be used as a flying mount. Here are some key stats:

• Paldeck: No. 107
• Partner Skill: Modified DNA – When activated, equips to the player and becomes a shield. Sometimes drops Wool when assigned to Ranch.
• Work Suitability:  Gathering (Lv.1)
• Food: 8/10
• Possible Drops: Carbon Fiber, Innovative Technical Manual, Pal Metal Ingot
• Skills: Air Cannon, Dark Ball, Shadow Burst, Spirit Flame, Nightmare Ball, Divine Disaster

In terms of Work Suitability, Shadowbeak offers little as it only has a level 1 in Gathering. But its active skills more than make up for it, especially the Divine Disaster skill which is exclusive to Shadowbeak and can be used to unleash a barrage of lasers on enemies. Its drops include Carbon Fiber, Innovative Technical Manual, and Pal Metal Ingot.

How to breed Shadowbeak in Palworld

The only breeding combination to get Shadowbeak in Palworld is by combining Kitsun and Astegeon in your Breeding Ranch.

Both Pals are tricky to acquire in their own right, especially Astegeon who spawns in the Mount Obsidian region. So, it is worth taking the easier breeding route using Relaxaurus and Suzaku to get Astegeon.
