Sledgehammer Games has released a new patch update for Call of Duty: WWII (yes, WWII) today on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The patch update is version 1.25.
The update is 2GB on PlayStation 4 and around 4GB on PC via Steam.
There’s no indication as to why this new update for the game was released as of now. We’ve reached out to Sledgehammer Games to see if there is patch notes coming for this update, or what’s the purpose of this update for the game.
Sledgehammer Games says it is just an update to be in compliance with state laws.
The new update requires players to be on PS4 System Software Version 7.00 in order to play Call of Duty: WWII on the PS4. This could just be a security fixes and updates for the game.
We will update if we get more information.
