PhD Slider Perk tiers & upgrades for Black Ops Cold War Zombies
PhD Slider is a new perk introduced to Black Ops Cold War Zombies at the start of Season 6. Here are all of the tiers and upgrades for the new perk.
Black Ops Cold War Season 6 presents the last installment in the CW Zombies campaign. “Forsaken” is the final round-based map for the game and is the conclusion to the opening chapter of the Dark Aether story before the Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies story developed by Treyarch Studios begins.
Of course, this also means that new weapons and perks have been added to spice up gameplay. For example, the Chrysalax is a two-handed melee weapon that can kill multiple zombies in a single swing.
However, a rather explosive new perk may be even more game-changing. At the start of Season 6, Black Ops Cold War Zombies added the new PhD Slider perk.
How to get Cold War PhD Slider perk
You can find the PhD Slider Perk in its dedicated vending machine on the map Forsaken. As well, players can find it at Der Wunderfizz in all round-based maps and Outbreak.
All PhD Slider Perk tiers and upgrades
Here are all the tiers for the new PhD Slider Perk.
- Base ability – Sliding into enemies triggers an explosion. The size and damage increase the farther you slide before impact.
- I – Immunity to environmental damage while sliding.
- II – Increased slide duration.
- III – Immunity to self-inflicted explosive damage.
- IV – Increased slide speed.
- V – Falling from a large height will trigger an explosion. The size and damage increase the higher you fall.
Since there’s no limit to the number of perks players can carry in Black Ops Cold War, you can combine PhD Slider with other perks. If you combine perks like Speed Cola, Jugger-Nog, and Stamina-Up, you can become an explosive human wrecking ball.
Of course, it’s hard to say how useful self-inflicted explosions will be. If anything, this is a goofy perk that offers a lot of fun potential. That being said, who doesn’t want to slide tackle into a horde of flesh-eating zombies.
