Infinity Ward appears to have started to tease some sort of change to Call of Duty: Warzone happening in the near future…
The newest patch update, which went live on April 28, has added in the ability for players to find ‘Red Access Cards’ around the map. Players are able to pick up these cards and hold onto them, but it is not clear yet what you can do with these access cards.
The cards could be some sort of key to enter the locked bunkers that fans have been seeing around the map.
There are some areas of the map, which if you walk up to, says press a button to enter code, but no code works. These access cards could be the first step into finding the full code to access the bunkers.
Since the launch of Warzone on March 10, Infinity Ward and Raven Software have not made any changes to the map itself, but there have been adjustments to other areas – like weapons, vehicles, and more. We may be getting some map changes soon.

Aydan explains how BOCW’s Ghost can stop Warzone campers
Aydan feels that the Ghost perk in Warzone should be tinkered with to turn it into the ultimate anti-camper tool.
Call of Duty streamer, Aydan Conrad, believes that the Ghost perk in Black Ops Cold War is well handled. He feels it should be implemented into Warzone in order to discourage camping.
Avoiding detection is a valuable skill in Call of Duty multiplayer matches. Your chances of winning are increased if the enemy doesn’t see the attack coming. If you value a stealthy approach, then there’s a handy perk that can assist you.
The Ghost perk in Modern Warfare and Warzone makes you completely invisible to enemy UAVs and Heartbeat sensors. The Black Ops Cold War version has the same benefit but only when you’re moving. This makes campers detectable – even with the perk equipped.
Call of Duty streamer, Aydan Conrad, went on the CharlieIntel Podcast where he discussed what he thinks of the newest title in the franchise. He took the opportunity to go on record and say that he loves the way the Ghost perk functions in BOCW.

In fact, he’s such a fan that he wants to see this integrated into Warzone. You can hear it from the man himself, below.
The former Fortnite pro and Warzone player has a lot of experience with Call of Duty titles and Battle Royale games. He made it clear that he prefers how the Ghost Perk works Black Ops Cold War and wants to see this implemented elsewhere.
(For mobile users, segment begins at 28:10)
“I really like how [Black Ops Cold War] has Ghost: it only works if you’re moving,” he said. “So if you’re camping in a corner, Ghost won’t work. I think that might be a great addition.”
He elaborated that this is because it gets annoying when someone is camping, and you can’t detect them – which is understandable since this tends to slow down the game while you play hide-n-seek with your opponent. Keeping them on the move would make the match much livelier.
Ayden isn’t the first player to complain against campers. A lot of Warzone fans would rejoice if this change were implemented. We may see Activision rework the Ghost perk this way since they already confirmed that Warzone would be integrated for Modern Warfare & Black Ops Cold War.
Leak reveals Alcatraz to return as ‘Rebirth Island’ in Warzone
A social media leak has revealed that Alcatraz is all-set to return as Rebirth Island in Call of Duty Warzone for more Battle Royale action.
Originally making waves in Black Ops 4’s Blackout as a Battle Royale map, Alcatraz appears to be making its return and is set to invade the Warzone as ‘Rebirth Island.‘
When the Season One roadmap was wheeled out originally, eagle-eyed users spotted some text that translated into Rebirth Island. Despite being a place you visit in Black Ops, Rebirth Island in this context is loosely based on the world-famous prison – Alcatraz – and is expanded to be a hotbed for battle royale activity.
We now have some potential confirmation of the incoming changes thanks to a leak that has made the rounds on Twitter.

We’re still a few days away from the launch of Season One of Black Ops Cold War on December 10. But Adi Source on Twitter has been able to uncover information regarding the new season’s content.
The image, from data miners, shows the logo and feature image for Warzone’s new map. (Image will probably be taken down by DMCA soon).
Reusing old content is certainly not an unfamiliar concept to Call of Duty fans as the series has constantly revitalized many of its previous maps and placed them in newer games e.g Nuketown.
Warzone will not be getting a seventh season and will instead continue its legacy with the forthcoming launch of its service alongside Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
The rest of the content remains to be seen, but we’ll update you when we find out more.
Season One is set to begin on December 10, and information on what to expect will surely be released soon. Stay tuned.
