Grass-type Pokemon weaknesses
Pure Grass-type Pokemon are weak to Bug, Fire, Flying, Ice, and Poison-type attacks.
Keep in mind that dual types remove certain weaknesses and resistances and add others. For example, Meowscarada is a Grass/Dark-type Pokemon that gains weaknesses to Fairy and Fighting-type moves aside from its regular list, and is 4x weak to Bug-type moves. So make sure you always account for weaknesses when using dual-type Grass Pokemon.
Since these species typically have many weaknesses, I usually Terastallize them to have fewer numbers. For pure Grass types, the Electric Tera Type is great as it is only weak to Ground-type attacks.
Grass-type Pokemon resistances
The resistances of Grass-type Pokemon include Electric, Grass, Ground, and Water-type attacks.
These are undoubtedly amazing and I’ve often safely switched a Grass-type Pokemon into STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus) moves from powerhouses like Groudon, Kyogre, Miraidon, and Raging Bolt. If you’re planning to Terastallize, make sure you do it after tanking the attack from the opponent.
Grass-type Pokemon strengths
Grass-type Pokemon deal super-effective damage to Ground, Rock, and Water types.
Aside from its small but impressive super-effective coverage, Grass types are immune to commonly used moves like Stun Spore, which can put your Pokemon to sleep, and Leech Seed, which steals HP. This has proved to be a huge advantage in several matchups, often making players quit the battle!
