“Crazy” Pokemon Go Nest offers millions of Stardust in just a few hours
NianticFarming Stardust in Pokemon Go is easier in the Strength of Steel event, thanks to the 3x catch bonus. That said, a certain Gen 5 Nest gives you millions of this invaluable resource in little time.
The popular Normal-type Audino is one of the few Pokemon in the game that reward extra Stardust on getting caught. In fact, it offers the highest amount at a staggering 2,100, so players grind day and night to catch as many of it as possible.
While it is an uncommon wild spawn, a Reddit user named ‘-Joyous’ revealed that Audino has been spawning like “crazy” in Forest biomes, helping them gain 500k Stardust in just two hours.
With the Strength of Steel event’s 3x bonus, a single Audino catch can get you 6,300 Stardust. By including an active Star Piece in the mix, you can get 9,450 thanks to the item’s 50% boost.
The post set the community abuzz with excitement, as they said they’d love to find an Audino Nest though some fans claimed that they had never encountered one before.
Note that a Nest is an area hosting frequent spawns of a certain Pokemon, and they usually tend to be in parks. This feature stays for at least two weeks before the Nesting species migrates to another location.
But, it looks like you can earn even more than 9,450, as trainers stated that for Partly Cloudy in-game weather, the 25% multiplier to Stardust gains gives you a whopping 11,800 Stardust per catch. Even better, this weather condition is pretty common in Pokemon Go.
With this in tow, you can easily farm millions of Stardust within just a few hours of playing. However, keep in mind that Audino has a low catch rate, so you’ll have to bring plenty of Poke Balls and Berries to catch it in large numbers.
Make sure you look out for nearby PokeStops or Gyms to have these items in supply and aim for Excellent Throws. If you’re unable to find an Audino Nest, use Niantic Campfire.
That’s not all, as Audino also has a Mega Evolution which will be eventually released in Pokemon Go, so try getting a perfect IV catch.
