Detective Pikachu Returns release date

Detective Pikachu Returns will be released on October 6, 2023, and will be distributed globally from the Nintendo Switch Online store.

There will be no global physical edition release at launch. The physical edition released for pre-order in Japan included several bonuses, like a Detective Pikachu figurine, and a special Growlithe TCG card.
