How to evolve Scyther into Kleavor or Scizor in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet DLC

The Hisuian evolution of Scyther can be found in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC, as well as Scizor, its Steel-type evolution. If you want to know how to evolve Scyther into Kleavor or Scizor, here’s all you need to know.

Scyther has been a fan-favorite Pokemon ever since the first games, and you can catch it along with its evolution line in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC. Scizor is from the Johto region, and is the Bug/Steel-type evolution, while Kleavor is a Pokemon from the Hisui region with the Bug/Rock-type.

Scizor has also been a part of Pokemon games for a long time, but fans may wonder how to evolve Scyther into it in the Terarium. Kleavor, on the other hand, was a boss in Pokemon Legends Arceus and a rare find that now roams the wilds of the Blueberry Academy.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet DLC: How to evolve Scyther into Kleavor or Scizor

Once you catch a Scyther in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC, give it the Metal Coat item and trade it with a friend to evolve it into Scizor.

Unfortunately, Scyther can’t evolve into Kleavor in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, since it needs a specific evolution item called “Black Augurite,” only found in Pokemon Legends Arceus. If you have a Pokemon HOME account, and Legends Arceus, you can use this method to transfer it to S&V.

While you won’t be able to evolve Scyther into its Husuian evolution, players can find Kleavor roaming in the wilds of the Blueberry Academy, so here’s how to catch Scizor and Kleavor in the wild.

How to catch Kleavor and Scizor in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet DLC

Kleavor can be found in the Canyon Biome of the Terarium in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC, straight to the right of the Canyon Plaza fast travel point, on top of a mountain. This is the only place Kleavor will spawn in The Indigo Disk.

To find Scizor in the wild, players must travel to the Savanna or the Canyon Biome. The south part of the Canyon Biome left of the Savana Plaza, is not only a perfect spot to catch wild Scizor, but players will also find Scyther there.
