Pokemon Go players can evolve Cottonee into Whimsicott by spending 50 Cottonee Candy and using a Sun Stone. If you evolve a Cottonee wearing a flower crown, you’ll get a Whimsicott wearing a flower crown.

How to get Sun Stone in Pokemon Go

You can get a Sun Stone in Pokemon Go by opening the Research Breakthrough Box after completing Field Research tasks for seven days. You might also receive one when opening Gifts from friends.

Sadly, the Sun Stone is not a guaranteed reward in these cases, so you might have to try many times before you get one. Keep in mind that you don’t need to complete Field Research tasks seven days in a row.
