Dubwool is the talk of the town in the Pokemon Go community. Players can’t wait to add Dubwool to their team and use it in Pokemon Go PvP and PvE battles. But there’s also a lot of confusion about its shiny availability, so here’s everything you must know.

Pokemon Go announced Wooloo as one of the featured spawns in the Catching Some Zs event. Since then, players have been looking forward to obtaining the evolution of Wooloo: the fan-favorite Pokemon Dubwool.

Dubwool is known to be very useful in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. So Pokemon Go players are curious to know how good Dubwool is in PvP and PvE battles, and if shiny Dubwool is available in the game.

So here are all the details you need to know about Dubwool in Pokemon Go.

How to get Dubwool in Pokemon Go

Pokemon Go players can obtain Dubwool by evolving Wooloo with 50 Candy.

Wooloo is usually a rare spawn in Pokemon Go but finding Wooloo has got easier after the Catching Some Zs event. We recommend players use Pinap Berries each time they catch a Wooloo. This would give bonus Candy from each catch and help them evolve from Wooloo to Dubwool quickly in Pokemon Go.

Is shiny Dubwool available in Pokemon Go?

No, shiny Dubwool is not available yet in Pokemon Go.

Since Dubwool is a Gen 8 Pokemon, it would take a while for its shiny to be available in the game. We’ll let you know once shiny Dubwool makes its debut in Pokemon Go.

Is Dubwool good in Pokemon Go PvP?

Yes, Dubwool is good in Pokemon Go PvP. It is one of the best Pokemon to use in the Great and Ultra Leagues formats.

Dubwool has an excellent moveset to use in the Great League. With Double Kick as a Fast Move, it can generate energy quickly to reach its deadly Charged Moves: Body Slam and Wild Charge. It can spam Body Slam and bait shields, and use Wild Charge when the opponent is not left with shields.

Pokemon Go players can also consider using Payback instead of Wild Charge in the Ultra League to deal with Giratina. But in all other cases, it is better to stick with the Wild Charge as it can do a lot of neutral damage.

Is Dubwool good in Pokemon Go PvE?

No, Dubwool is not good in Pokemon Go PvE.

Being a Normal-type Pokemon, Dubwool doesn’t get super-effective coverage against any Pokemon. In addition, its Attack stat of 159 is too low to deal high damage to opponents, even when Dubwool’s attacks are boosted by weather.
