Yes, Morpeko is a version exclusive from Pokemon Violet The Teal Mask DLC. In order to get it in Pokemon Scarlet, players will need to trade with another trainer that has Violet.

Pokemon Scarlet players can also be invited to Tera Raids hosted by a Pokemon Violet player and catch it. Otherwise, it is not available in the Scarlet version of the game.

Where to find Morpeko in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet The Teal Mask

In Pokemon Violet The Teal Mask, Morpeko can be found mostly in mountain ranges and prairies, Oni Mountain, and Paradise Barrens. It will rarely spawn in duos or trios, and will mostly be roaming around alone, running from other Pokemon, so it tends to be isolated.

Morpeko is an Electric/Dark type Pokemon that debuted in the 8th Generation and doesn’t evolve. Curiously, it has a second form that activates with its special Ability “Hunger Switch,” which allows it to switch between forms at the end of each turn during combat.
