Starting with Pokemon Go Fest 2024, trainers will be able to fuse Necrozma with Solgaleo or Lunala to get Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma, respectively. Here’s what you’ll need to do:
- Dusk Mane Necrozma: Fuse Necrozma and Solgaleo using 1,000 Solar Fusion Energy, 30 Necrozma Candy, and 30 Cosmog Candy.

How to get Fusion Energy in Pokemon Go
During and after Pokemon Go Fest 2024, trainers will be able to earn Solar Fusion Energy or Lunar Fusion Energy by defeating Dusk Mane Necrozma or Dawn Wings Necrozma, respectively, in Raid Battles. Players will also be able to buy a ticketed Research during the Global celebrations.
Those who attend the in-person Go Fest will get a Special Research that rewards them with Fusion Energy. This Research will be a branched one, so you’ll get the chance to catch only one type of Fusion Energy during the event unless invited to other Raids by Friends.
Necrozma type & weaknesses in Pokemon Go explained
Necrozma is a pure Psychic-type in Pokemon Go, so it’s weak against Bug, Ghost, and Dark-type moves. This means it can resist Fighting and other Psychic-type attacks.
When it comes to Dusk Mane Necrozma, it’s a Psychic/Steel-type Pokemon, which means it’s weak against Ground, Ghost, Fire, and Dark-type moves. Solgaleo’s Fusion can resist Poison, Normal, Flying, Rock, Steel, Grass, Psychic, Ice, Dragon, and Fairy-type moves.
Lastly, Dawn Wings Necrozma is a Psychic/Ghost-type species, meaning it’s weak against Ghost and Dark-type attacks. It’s worth noting that these are bigger weaknesses than usual (4x), so it’s best to rely on those types to deal massive damage. Lunala’s Fusion, however, can resist Fighting, Normal, Poison, and Psychic-type moves.
