While most Pokemon players are familiar with Pikachu, there’s another Mouse Pokemon that players can catch. Pawmi can prove to be a great addition to Pokemon Go collections, with two evolutions to look forward to.

More and more Paldean Pokemon have made their way to Pokemon Go, and players looking for a strong Electric-type Pokemon won’t want to miss their shot at catching Pawmi, Pawmo, and Pawmot.

How to catch Pawmi in Pokemon Go

Pokemon Go players will have increased chances of encountering and catching Pawmi as the featured Pokemon in the Spotlight Hour showcase on March 5 from 6 PM to 7 PM local time. The event only lasts for one hour so make sure to take advantage of the brief window to catch Pawmi.

Once the Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour on March 5 comes to a close, players will be able to catch Pawmi in the wild. Pawmi is quite a common wild spawn in Pokemon Go, so there’s no need to worry if you missed the Spotlight Hour.

Pokemon Go: How to evolve Pawmi

Pokemon Go players can evolve Pawmi into Pawmo by feeding it 25 Candy. Then, Pawmo can evolve into Pawmot by walking 25 km with it set as your Buddy Pokemon and feeding it 100 Candy.

Pawmi is an Electric-type Pokemon that debuted in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Paldea. When it evolves into Pawmo, it takes on the Fighting type as well to become an Electric and Fighting dual-type Pokemon.

Is shiny Pawmi in Pokemon Go?

Shiny Pawmi is not available in Pokemon Go yet. Pawmi debuted in Pokemon Go back in September 2023, and given that it’s still a relatively new addition, its shiny form has not been added yet.

Pokemon shiny debuts usually occur via an event in which the Pokemon is featured. We’ll keep you posted once shiny Pawmi makes its way to Pokemon Go.
