Pokemon players are in for a treat thanks to the new Scarlet and Violet DLC titled The Indigo Disk. After The Teal Mask and its festive storyline filled with many new Pokemon, the second part of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC brought even more content to discover.
Trainers now have the chance to catch new Paradox Pokemon, discover the truth behind Terapagos, challenge the Blueberry Academy Elite Four, and more. And while there are many new Pokemon that caught the player base’s attention, there’s also a new mythical everyone is talking about.
So, here is everything we know about Pecharunt in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC.
How to catch Pecharunt in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
To get Pecharunt in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, players need to start and complete the Mochi Mayhem Epilogue Quest after they finish all DLC story content of both Kitakami and Blueberry Academy.
After following the steps of the quest, which starts when you obtain the Mythical Pecha Berry, you can face Pecharunt in battle and capture it in Loyalty Plaza, Kitakami.
Players can already get the Mythical Pecha Berry event item needed to trigger the Quest and the encounter with Pecharunt.
According to the S&V Pokedex, Pecharunt is a Pokemon that “feeds others toxic mochi that draw out desires and capabilities. Those who eat the mochi fall under Pecharunt’s control, chained to its will.”
Pecharunt’s debut in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet has also brought a new move called Malignant Chain, which is a poison-type move with 100 Base Power and causes the Badly Poisoned Status Effect. Pecharunt is a dual Poison and Ghost-type Pokemon, and many players are eager to get it in the game.
