Pokemon TCG and McDonald’s new promotional cards are coming soon, and here are all the details about the promotional booster packs that will come with Happy Meals.

McDonald’s annual Pokemon TCG promotion will start soon, and this time, the cards you can get as a reward are from the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet and Paldea Evolved sets.

Trainers that want to get their hands on these precious reprinted cards will have to wait in line and purchase a Happy Meal, to be able to get a promotional booster pack.

Here’s all you need to know about the Pokemon TCG McDonald’s promo, including the expected release date, locations, and card list.

Pokemon TCG McDonald’s promo expected start date

The start date for the Pokemon TCG McDonald’s promo has yet to be confirmed, but according to PokeBeach, a reliable source of leaks, the Pokemon TCG Mcdonald’s promo will arrive on September 12 and will run until October 16, 2023.

Trainers who purchase a Happy Meal in the selected participating locations will be granted the chance to get four of the 14 reprinted cards from the Scarlet & Violet set.

There’s also another extra Pikachu card that comes from the Paldea Evolved set that can also be found in the promotional booster packs.

The Pokemon TCG promotion will be held in McDonald’s establishments located in the United Kingdom and the United States. There’s no additional information about other countries where the promotion might be available.

McDonald’s have yet to reveal the official information regarding whether the promotion will be available in all the Cities across the UK or the US. We will keep you informed when more details come out.

How to get Pokemon TCG McDonald’s promo cards

Similar to previous Pokemon TCG McDonald’s promotions, you will be able to obtain one of the booster packs by purchasing a Happy Meal. Each pack contains 4 cards, one of them being holographic, and a toy, with the updated “Match & Battle” design.

Pokemon Trading Card Game promotional cards are often seen as rare and limited, and this is a great chance to get your hands on them.

The Pokemon TCG McDonald’s promotion set will feature 15 reprinted cards. Almost all are from the Scarlet & Violet collection, except the Pikachu card, which comes from the Paldea Evolved collection.

Some of the cards from the promotion will feature a unique holo foil design.

Six of the cards included in the set will be of the holo variety: Sprigatito, Quaxly, Fuecoco, Cetitan, Pikachu, and Klawf. The holo design will be confetti holofoil, like previous McDonald’s TCG promotion cards. However, the difference is that this time, they will also have foil borders.
