Divisive Pokemon fan theory claims Paradox Legendary trios could be Unova remake tease
The Pokemon CompanyThe theory appeared in Reddit after months of fan speculation over the next Pokemon games. Players think that the Pokemon Black and White remakes could be next, and the Paradox trios from Scarlet and Violet might be the key.
Fan theories are always up to date in the Pokemon Community, and fans love to think about what could be next in the series. Theories about possible plot points with clues left for players to discover are what fans are using to think about future Pokemon games.
Reddit user Phinome brought back from the grave a long-lasting fan theory about the Original Dragon and added it to Scarlet and Violet’s lore. The Original or Origin Dragon is the final form of Reshiram, Kyurem, and Zekrom fused, according to the Black and White games.
Paradox Legendary trios might hold the key to the Unova remakes
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet introduced fans to the Scarlet/Violet book, a piece of Paldean lore that told many stories about the mysterious Area Zero. Sketches of Paradox Pokemon were found inside and ended up being real with Paradox Suicune and Virizion releasing on Raids.
The trailer for The Indigo Disk DLC showed us Raikou and Cobalion paradox forms. User Phinome thinks “the paradox Legendary trios will be triple fused as a teaser for the BW remakes” and states that the remakes are where we will finally see Unova’s “Original Dragon.”
The original sketches found in the Scarlet/Violet book are not exactly what The Pokemon Company released on Raids with Suicune and Virizion. But also, if Indigo Disk has Raikou and Cobalion next, what about Paradox Entei and Terrakion? The drawings show what fans describe as a “fusion” between the trio.
Some users stay skeptical over the theory still, and said that “some things are left to the imagination for a reason,” and don’t think players will see this one through. Some other cases on old theories are used to back this up, like Mimikyu’s true form or even which Pokemon died on Johto’s burning tower.
Are you up for fan theories like this one? Meanwhile, there’s a lot to learn about the lore of Kitakami in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. And if you still haven’t read it, the same user yesterday shared another theory on Reddit regarding The Indigo Disk DLC.
