Pokemon Go 2024 World Championships dates
The Pokemon Go 2024 World Championship event will run from Friday, August 16, at 10 AM to Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at 8 PM (local time).
This edition will take place from August 16 to August 18, 2024, in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. You’ll be able to watch all tournaments on Pokemon Go’s official channels.

Trainers who spin PokeStops during the 2024 World Championship can get themed Field Research tasks to get these encounters.
Additionally, they’ll be able to purchase a paid Timed Research for US$5.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in their local currency), to get the following rewards:
- 1x Premium Battle Pass
- 25,000 Stardust
- Encounters with event-themed Pokemon such as Azumarill, Vigoroth, Cresselia, and more.
Event bonuses
- Up to five Special Trades can be made each day.
- You can use a Charged TM to help a Shadow Pokemon forget the Charged Attack Frustration.
How to get 2024 Worlds avatar items in Pokemon Go
The Pokemon Company will reveal a promo code on the first day of the 2024 Pokemon World Championships, so stay tuned and check the official Pokemon Go Twitch channel to get the 2024 Worlds Tee (White).
Trainers who attend the event in Hawaii will be able to get a different version of the item.

Bonuses
- 4x Stardust from win rewards. (This does not include end-of-set rewards.)
- The maximum number of sets you can play per day will increase from five to 20 (for a total of 100 battles) from 12 AM to 11:59 PM (local time).
- Free battle-themed Timed Research will be available. Rewards include a wig avatar item inspired by Lana.
- Pokemon encountered via Go Battle League rewards will have a wider variance of Attack, Defense, and HP.
