Pokemon Go players are gearing up to celebrate Go Fest 2024, but before that, a new event is coming for trainers all around the world.

Aquatic Paradise puts the spotlight on Water-type species, giving players the chance to catch fan-favorite Pokemon and even a new shiny.

Dates

The Aquatic Paradise event will run from Saturday, July 6, at 10 AM to Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 8 PM (local time).

Pokemon Go Fest 2024: New York takes place between July 5 and July 7, so players attending the in-person event will be able to enjoy additional bonuses and encounters from this event.

  • Corphish

Incense encounters

  • Shellder
  • Lapras
  • Finneon
  • Frillish

All listed species can be shiny, so be on the lookout. Shiny Ducklett is debuting globally with this event.

Field & Timed Research

Trainers who spin PokeStops will get event-themed Field Research tasks, and completing them will grant additional encounters with Corphish, Clamperl, Finneon, and Frillish.

Additionally, a Timed Research will also be available for US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). This Research will be focused on exploration and catching Pokemon, and it will grant trainers additional encounters with Ducklett, 4 Lucky Eggs, 2 Incenses, and 20 Ducklett Candy.

Event bonuses

  • Increased chance of encountering event Pokemon from Incense.

Aquatic Paradise Collection Challenge

The event will also feature a new Collection Challenge for players to complete. Completing it will reward players additional encounters with some of the featured Pokemon alongside other rewards.
