Pokemon Go choose a path – Should you pick Emolga, Crabrawler or Ducklett?

Pokemon Go Fest 2024 is over but players can still get some of its unique rewards through Special Research, codes for Lunar and Solar Fusion Energy, and much more.

Here’s all you need to know about The Dawn of a New Discovery tasks and rewards, including the best Pokemon to pick in the branched Special Research.

Which Pokemon Go path is best? Emolga, Crabrawler or Ducklett

We recommend picking Ducklett, as its evolution, Swanna, has some uses in Pokemon Go PvP.

That aside, you should choose whatever species you like the most, as you’ll get a pretty decent Emolga, Crabrawler, or Ducklett after completing the entire Special Research.

Ducklett and Crabrawler are relatively common spawns and are often featured in events. This means it’ll be easier to complete this Special Research if you pick them.

• Spin three PokeStops or Gyms – 20x Poke Ball
• Catch 10 Pokemon – 3x Nanab Berry
• Complete two Field Research Tasks – 100 XP

Completion rewards: 3x Potion, Sun Crown Pikachu encounter, 100 Stardust

The first step of the Research is the same for all players who logged into Pokemon Go on July 14. Once you complete it, you’ll have to choose between three Pokemon to keep going.
