Pokemon Go Cyndaquil Community Day Classic date & time

The Cyndaquil Community Day Classic will take place in Pokemon Go on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 2 PM to 5 PM (local time).

Players will see boosted spawns of the Fire Mouse Pokemon during that time, but there won’t be active bonuses after it’s over.

Yes, Cyndaquil can be shiny in Pokemon Go and the chances of encountering a shiny Cyndaquil during its Community Day Classic will be 1 in 25 spawns or around 4%.

Pokemon Go Cyndaquil Community Day Classic featured move

Pokemon Go players that evolve Quilava (Cyndaquil’s Evolution) during the Community Day Classic or up to two hours afterward will get a Typhlosion that knows the Fire-type Charged Attack Blast Burn.

Blast Burn boasts 110 power in both Trainers battles and Gym and Raids. While there are more powerful Fire-type moves in the game, Blast Burn has one of the highest Damage-per-Energy rates at 2.20.

The Cyndaquil Community Day Classic in Pokemon Go will feature Field and Special Research for players to complete.

Field Research tasks consisting in catching Cyndaquil will be available for players that spin PokeStops during the event. Trainers can earn Stardust, Great Balls, and additional encounters with Cyndaquil, among other rewards.

On the other hand, for USD 1 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), players will be able to access the Cyndaquil Community Day Classic–exclusive Special Research story. We’ll make sure to update this section once the Special Research is online.

Trainers participating in the Pokemon Go Cyndaquil Community Day Classic will enjoy the following bonuses:

• 2x XP for catching Pokemon.
• 2x Stardust for catching Pokemon.
• Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
• Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
• Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!

Additionally, players will be able to participate in PokeStop Showcases with the biggest Cyndaquil they catch.
