Pokemon Go devs’ typo leads to best-ever Raid Day ticket
NianticThe Pokemon Go devs made a typo about the ticketed bonuses in the Mega Lucario Raid Day. But, in a surprising twist, Niantic decided to honor the perks instead of removing them.
In any Raid Day event, ticket holders can get eight additional in-person Passes along with the usual bonus of five freebies, bringing the total to 13. However, Niantic mistakenly wrote that players can get 13 additional Passes in their original post, resulting in a whopping 18.
This led to Niantic apologizing for the typo in an X post while stating they would “honor the information provided.”
The Pokemon Go community was delighted with the news and praised the “rare Niantic W.” Others mentioned that things like this are “very much appreciated.”
Trainers highlighted that this bonus makes the event so much better as it also guarantees the extremely rare XL Candy from each battle. This will help them power up their best attackers for the Go Battle League and Raids.
In fact, when a Reddit user ‘aznknight613’ shared these updates in a post, everyone called it the “best ticket” they’d ever seen and loved that it offered great value.
With the last Raid Day of Primal Groudon and Kyogre being a mess, the bunch of bonuses had convinced many to purchase the ticket costing US$5 (or the equivalent pricing in your local currency).
Note that Mega Lucario Raids will take place on Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 11 AM to 5 PM local time. This gives you six whole hours to catch the new best Fighting-type species in the game, especially with its exclusive Fast Move Force Palm.
Also, you need to spin 13 PokeStops or Gyms to get the bonus Passes, so find an area with plenty of them to complete the Raids quickly.
To beat this Raid Boss easily, use the strongest Fighting, Fire, and Ground types in Pokemon Go, including Primal Groudon and the Mega Evolutions of Garchomp, Charizard, and Blaziken.
