Niantic surprised Pokemon Go players with a new special event centered around the Routes feature. While players celebrate the Blaze New Trails event in the game, Legendary Pokemon Zygarde is making its Pokemon Go debut with a new Special Research.

So, without further ado, here’s every task and reward in the Pokemon Go From A to Zygarde Special Research so you can get your hands on the Order Pokemon.

From A to Zygarde Special Research tasks & rewards in Pokemon Go

Pokemon Go players that log into the game starting July 20, 2023 will get the new Special Research. Here are all of the From A to Zygarde Special Research tasks and rewards in Pokemon Go:

Step 1 of 6

• Walk 1km – 5 Pinap Berries
• Catch 10 Pokemon – 5 Potion
• Use 5 Berries to help catch Pokemon – 5 Poke Ball

Completion rewards: 500 Stardust

Step 2 of 6

• Make 5 Great Throws – 10 Razz Berries
• Power Up Pokemon 5 times – 10 Nanab Berries
• Hatch an Egg – 10 Poke Balls

Completion rewards: 1000 Stardust

Step 3 of 6

• Claim Reward! – 10 Great Balls
• Claim Reward! – 10 Super Potions
• Claim Reward! – 1000 Stardust

Completion rewards: Zygarde (10% Forme) and a Zygarde Cube

Step 4 of 6

• Follow 3 Routes – 1 Incense
• Catch 20 Pokemon while following Routes – 3 Revives
• Find a Zygarde Cell – 5 Ultra Balls

Completion rewards: 1000 XP and 1000 Stardust

Step 5 of 6

• Use an Incense while following a Route – 15 Great Balls
• Earn 3 Candies walking with your buddy – 1500 Stardust
• Follow 5 Routes – 10 Ultra Balls

Completion Rewards: 2000 XP

Step 6 of 6

• Claim Reward! – 1 Star Piece
• Claim Reward! – 2000 XP
• Claim Reward! – 1 Golden Razz Berry

Completion rewards: 2500 XP and 2500 Stardust

Do note that Routes is still rolling out, so you won’t be able to complete this Special Research until you get the new feature in the game. Don’t try to complete the tasks before getting the From A to Zygarde Special Research since your progress won’t count.
