You will find many spooky stickers from PokeStops, opening Gifts, and from the in-game shop.

The Pokemon Go Halloween 2023 Part 1 event will run from October 19, 2023, until October 26, 2023, at 10 AM local time.

This event will also have the popular remix of the Lavender Town music playing in the game during the night.

Pokemon Go Halloween 2023 Part 1 Greavard debut

The Paldean Ghost Dog Pokemon Greavard and its evolution Houndstone will make their debut in the Pokemon Go Halloween 2023 Part 1 event.

For the first time, you will be able to find shiny Phantump and evolve it into shiny Trevenant after the Halloween 2023 Part 1 event begins in Pokemon Go.

Pokemon Go Halloween 2023 Part 1 bonuses

You can enjoy the following bonuses during Pokemon Go Halloween 202 Part 1:

  • Additional Candy and Candy XL will be rewarded for successfully catching Pokemon with Nice, Great, and Excellent Throws.
  • Trainers level 31 and above will receive additional Candy XL for hatching Eggs.
  • 2x Candy for hatching Eggs.
  • PokeStops and Gyms will be decorated during the event.

The following species will appear more frequently in the wild during the Pokemon Go Halloween 2023 Part 1 event:

Pokemon Go Halloween 2023 Part 1 Timed Research

The Pokemon Go Halloween 2023 Part 1 event offers three different Timed Research quests that will focus on Ghost and Dark-type species. All these quests should be completed by October 31, 2023, at 8 PM local time

Here are the details on the Timed Research quests available during the event:

You will be able to access paid Timed Research for $5 (or the equivalent in your local currency) from the in-game shop during the Pokemon Go Halloween 2023 Part 1 event.

Players who complete this Timed Research will earn rewards that include a new Halloween pose and encounters with Phantump and Alolan Meowth.

Pokemon Go Greavard Timed Research

A free Timed Research will be available during this Pokemon Go event and it will focus on catching Ghost-types, and will reward Stardust, Greavard encounters, and more!

Pokemon Go Spiritomb Timed Research

An additional Pokemon Go Timed Research focusing on Spiritomb and its 108 spirits as well as other Ghost-type species will run during the Halloween 2023 Part 1 event.

There will be Field research tasks during the Pokemon Go Halloween 2023 Part 1 event and completing them will lead to encounters with the following species:

  • Phantump
