Niantic/The Pokemon CompanyAfter a few weeks, Pokemon Go players finally have the chance to finish an event-themed Special Research to get the Master Ball. Here’s everything you need to know about the Let’s Go tasks and rewards.
Pokemon Go players already celebrated the 2023 edition of the Let’s Go event centered around Ditto and Meltan and can now complete a historical Special Research. The ‘Let’s Go!’ Special Research will be available to claim until the end of the Rising Heroes season in June 2023. It tests Pokemon Go players’ skills with Poke Ball throws, among other things.
In this article, we’ll detail every stage of this Special Research with its tasks and rewards.
Let’s Go Special Research tasks & rewards in Pokemon Go
Here are all the Let’s Go Special Research tasks and rewards in Pokemon Go:
Stage 1 of 6
- Catch 10 Pokemon – 5 Poke Balls
- Make 10 Curveball Throws – 5 Razz berries
- Power up Pokemon 5 times – 1000 Stardust
Completion rewards: 1500 XP and a Mankey encounter
Stage 2 of 6
- Catch 15 Pokemon – 10 Poke Balls
- Make 10 Great Throws – 5 Pinap berries
- Transfer 20 Pokemon – 5 Great Balls
Completion rewards: 2000 XP and a Meditite encounter
Stage 3 of 6
- Power up Pokemon 10 times – 10 Great Balls
- Make 7 Great Throws – 1 Lure Module
- Defeat a Team Go Rocket Member – 3 Revives
Completion rewards: 2500 XP and a Machoke encounter
Stage 4 of 6
- Catch a Pokemon – 500 XP
Completion rewards: 1000 XP and 1000 Stardust
Stage 5 of 6
- Catch 25 Pokemon – 2500 Stardust
- Defeat 3 Team Go Rocket Grunts – 3 Hyper Potions
- Make 3 Excellent Throws – Galarian Farfetch’d encounter
- Evolve 5 Pokemon – 2500 Stardust
- Battle in a Gym 3 times – 5 Revives
Completion Rewards: 1 Master Ball, 1000 XP, and 1000 Stardust
Stage 6 of 6
- Claim Reward! – 10 Ultra Ball
- Claim Reward! – 2 Silver Pinap Berries
- Claim Reward! – 1 Star Piece
Completion Rewards: 3000 XP and 3000 Stardust
Currently, the Let’s Go Special Research is the only way to get the Master Ball in Pokemon Go, so make sure you claim it before June 1.
