You can get the Pokemon Go Tails of Adventure Timed Research for $2.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency) from the in-game shop during the event.

Just like the Out to Play quest, this Timed Research should also be completed by October 2, 2023, at 8 PM local time.
