Pokemon Go players beg for powerful Mythical Boss to return after two years
NianticWith Mega Rayquaza done and dusted, Pokemon Go players are eager to have its arch-nemesis in Raids, especially after not featuring for two long years.
This Pokemon is none other than the Mythical Deoxys, a Psychic-type powerhouse with four forms which are a huge hit among the community.
Deoxys is one of the few Mythicals that can be caught from Raids, and when a Reddit user expressed their desire to see this mysterious species in a Raid Day event, fellow trainers were on the same page.
Many highlighted that they don’t have any form of Deoxys in their collection, with some even requiring it to complete their Hoenn Pokedex.
Those who already had it were eager to collect the shinies of all four forms since the shiny versions take on a drastic change to yellow and green. Also, players of the mainline Pokemon games can catch Deoxys’ forms and transfer them to Pokemon Home.
The demand for Deoxys is so high, that some are even willing to pay for an event or ticket revolving around it, as one wrote, “POKEMON DO A DEOXYS RAID DAY, AND MY WALLET IS YOURS.”
Deoxys’ variants include Attack, Defense, Speed, and Normal. The Defense form is among the strongest additions to the Go Battle League, particularly the Great League.
Additionally, the Attack form has the highest offensive stat in the meta, but with underwhelming bulk. This makes its 5-Star Raid solo-able and easy for trainers to farm useful items like Golden Razz Berries, TMs, and Stardust from these battles.
A few users wished that devs Niantic would let you change forms, especially since form change mechanics are available in the game for Gen 6 Mythical Hoopa.
