In recent months, a large section of Pokemon Go fans have grown sick and tired of the Egg pool as it features Pokemon that the community simply seems to “hate” hatching. Now, they’re asking for a particular update, that they believe would be a “big step” in the game.

Aside from catching ’em all, Pokemon Go players also have to hatch Eggs to add all available Pokemon to their collection, with some rare Mons being limited to these hatches.

Eggs in Pokemon Go are divided into various types based on the distance required to hatch them: 2km, 5km, 7km, 10km, and 12km. But it looks like the community isn’t pleased with most of the Pokemon present in Eggs, and they have been frustrated for months now.

A user named ‘Ogre328’ on Reddit shared the “Throw out of the window” meme in which the OP sarcastically indicated that Niantic isn’t selling enough Incubators because the Eggs don’t have good Pokemon in their pool, captioning the post with: “I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s felt like this.”

Right off the bat, a user mentioned: “I hatch roughly 10-13 eggs a week” before adding that they “hatch the same old sh*t every single time.”

Another wrote: “Even if one of the Pokemon is good, the chance is so low that I won’t bother,” before someone commented: “He was thrown out because boss simply adores Lickitung and Pawmi,” referencing the meme and the two most common Pokemon from 5km Eggs.

The mention of “Pawmi” instantly prompted comments from frustrated players, who particularly disliked this Gen 9 Mon. “I absolutely hate this Pokemon’s line. Each evolution is almost indistinguishable from the last. Completely useless,” one of them said.

As another stated: “Pawmi is just a middle finger— 5km for nothing,” most agree that the 10km pool isn’t “terrible” due to the possibility of hatching rare Pokemon, but the other variants make them “miss being excited about Egg hatches.”

That said, the community is eager to have a certain feature added to Eggs, that they feel would solve this long-standing problem of hatching underwhelming Pokemon.

Fans declared: “Please let us delete eggs that WE DON’T WANT” and “Just allowing you to delete eggs would be a big step in the right direction for Niantic.”

It remains to be seen if the feature is included in Pokemon Go but until then, you can catch powerful species from ongoing Raids and use them in the Go Battle League.
