Pokemon Go players share Adventure Sync tips to reach 100km a week
NianticThe Adventure Sync feature in Pokemon Go rewards you for the distance you have walked each week. While most players find it difficult to achieve the required distances, a few players have shared some useful tips that helped them cover 50km and 100km in seven days.
One of the most exciting features of Pokemon Go is Adventure Week, where players get rewarded each Monday based on the distance they covered the previous week. These rewards usually include Stardust, XP, and Eggs that hatch into rare Pokemon. While the best rewards are given for walking 100km and 50km, most players find it challenging to cover these distances.
Regardless of the challenge, Pokemon Go players are eager to find out how they can get it done. Now, a Pokemon Go player’s Reddit post about getting more than 50km led to other players sharing some tips based on how they unlocked the same distance as well as 100km in Adventure Sync.
Pokemon Go players explain how to get more than 100km per week
After Pokemon Go player W0lv3rIn321 asked “Is there any benefit to walking more than 50 km a week?” in their Reddit post, a couple of players shared how they cover 50km as well as 100km per week in Adventure Sync. One player commented that “I’m averaging about 15k steps a day most weeks. Hatches a LOT of eggs.”
On being asked how they are getting the walking done, the player wrote: “Started with 20-30 minutes. Gradually got longer and longer as my stamina improved. Now routinely at least an hour a day, some days up to 3 hours. I’ve added jogging 3-4 days a week. I did 10k in 70 minutes this morning.”
Among other comments on walking the distance, a particular “hint” on covering 100km read: “100 km becomes way more attainable with biking and using some activity tracker (don’t know why but for example for me using Google fit ensures I get the distance added up in adventure sync. without it, I keep missing a lot of it).”
Players should note that Pokemon Go’s Adventure Sync is connected to Google Fit, which can record distances even if there is a GPS drift or if they ride a bike slowly. So, players need not ‘walk’ 100km entirely as significant distances can be picked up through factors like GPS drift in your mobile phone.
With Routes being the most talked-about feature in Pokemon Go lately, these tips shared by players can help you get the distance you want and possibly find Routes in the game.
