Getting even a single shiny is a big deal in Pokemon Go as finding them is extremely rare, but a player has left fans in disbelief by catching three rare shinies within minutes while also adding a boosted shiny to their jaw-dropping haul.

Whether it’s Pokemon Go, Pokemon Sleep, or the mainline games, getting a shiny is one of the biggest achievements for fans. These Pokemon are extremely rare and trainers spend hours or even days to bag these prized assets.

So when a player enjoying the Festival of Lights 2023 event caught not one, not two, but three continuous shinies within a few minutes, and topped it with another shiny after an hour, the Pokemon Go community couldn’t believe the feat.

After Reddit user ‘karderYEET’ shared a post that showed shinies of Litwick, Koffing, Electrike, and Shadow Dratini caught in Pokemon Go, and wrote: “Yesterday I broke my own personal record and got 4 full odds shinies in a day.”

Also, the OP provided more context to their post by mentioning that “the Litwick, Loffing, and Electrike were all within 5 minutes of each other, the Dratini was about an hour later.”

The shiny haul impressed other players as several users lauded the achievement with comments such as: “3 full odds, but honestly the Dratini is even rarer despite being 1/64, so congrats” and “omg so lucky.”

Fans should note that ‘full odds’ refers to unboosted shiny rates, so getting them is undoubtedly remarkable as the chances are typically 1 in 512. With the OP capturing three full-odds shinies in a short duration, many called them “insane pulls.”

When a user asked, “Are you okay?” the OP replied, “Mentally still reeling!” as other players stated that they get “nothing” even after hunting shinies for an entire day.

With shiny hunting being bigger and better in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, the Pokemon Go community is clearly having a blast with shinies.
