Pokemon Go is celebrating its Solstice Horizons event during the Hidden Gems season, and players have the chance to get all sorts of interesting Pokemon. Alongside shiny Fomantis’ debut, players can catch region-exclusive Lunatone and Solrock no matter where they are.
The Solstice Horizons event also has two Collection Challenges players can complete. Let’s take a look at all the Collection Challenges and the Field Research tasks and rewards that arrived with the new event.
How to complete the Solstice Horizons Collection Challenges in Pokemon Go
The Solstice Horizons Collection Challenges are available in Pokemon Go until Sunday, June 25, 2023, at 8 PM (local time). Players must get every Pokemon on each list to earn both Elite Collector Medals:
Daytime
- Solrock
- Ledyba
- Petilil
- Purrloin
- Drifloon
- Sewaddle
- Cottonee
- Murkrow
Nighttime
- Lunatone
- Spinarak
- Oddish
- Stunky
- Misdreavus
- Venipede
- Foongus
- Phantump
Players that complete these challenges before the end of the event will earn 4000 Stardust and two Fomantis encounters.
Pokemon Go Solstice Horizons Field Research tasks & rewards
Pokemon Go players that spin PokeStops during the Solstice Horizons event might get an event-exclusive Field Research task. Here’s the full list of event-themed tasks and rewards:

For the first time in Pokemon Go, players can encounter shiny Fomantis, so make sure to complete the Collection Challenges and Field Research tasks to increase your chances.
