With Mega Evolutions confirmed for Pokemon Legends ZA, players are eager to finally see the Mega of a fan-favorite Pokemon that they have been desperate to meet for 10 years!

Pokemon Day 2024 looks to have hit the jackpot with fans of the franchise as it made several announcements for various Pokemon games in its Presents trailer.

That said, they saved the best for the last with the reveal of Legends ZA based on the Kalos region and the long-awaited return of Mega Evolutions. Fans are convinced that new Megas are on the cards, and it looks like one particular Pokemon has the top vote for getting the gimmick under its belt.

A user named ‘Ajentee’ on the X app tweeted: “MEGA FLYGON COULD BE REAL!!!!!!!!!” resulting in a flurry of excitement in the comments section.

Fans commented: “Finally my boy could get the love he rightfully deserves” and “It’s a must” as they have been waiting for Mega Flygon for nearly 10 years.

You should know that Mega Flygon was originally planned for release but was later scrapped as the developers had an artist’s block in coming up with the design for the Pokemon.

With Pokemon Legends ZA presenting an amazing opportunity for Mega Flygon to finally see the light of day, players also speculated about its type combination. “I’m so ready for it to become a Bug/Dragon-type like people want,” a trainer wrote, as more rooted for it.

Additionally, if released with this Pokemon-type combination, it would be the first-ever Bug/Dragon-type in the franchise.

Other popular picks for new Megas included Dragonite, the OG Pseudo Legendary, and Jynx, whose addition was also scrapped. Dragon types usually get boosts and different forms in new Pokemon games, so Mega Flygon can end up being a reality after all.
